Fort Worth OnStage Local Presenter Roundup!

Hello! Welcome to another stop in our blog hop! I hope you've been enjoying our presentations! I had so much fun showing off the upcoming Sea of Textures stamp set and Under the Sea dies. To be honest, I'm not an ocean person, but I loved how easy this stamp set was to use! It makes some really cute stuff, and is perfect for those that love ocean adventures. And you'll be humming "Under the Sea"  from The Little Mermaid the entire time, so it's a win win!

So, without further ado, the projects!

This first one uses the NEW Balmy Blue cardstcok and ink to stamp the texture and greeting, and Crumb Cake to sponge the edges of the Very Vanilla sand dollars, 1/2" banner, and embossed stripes. The net-like die adds some fun texture and focus. You can save the cut outs for confetti!

This one is fun and involves some fussy cutting, but don't worry, it doesn't take long. First I stamped the scaly texture in Soft Sea Foam all over the Balmy Blue and Very Vanilla cardstock, stamping off before stamping onto the cardstock each time so it wasn't too dark. I stamped the sea weed along the bottom in the returning Mossy Meadow ink, stamping three or four times to lighten to color, and the large coral stamp in Balmy Blue. I loved the punny greeting with the octopus! By die cutting the circle only part of the way and fussy cutting the tentacles afterward you can really have him reaching out!  The twine is actually our Burlap Ribbon separated into individual strands with each card getting five strands. You can get more than one card made from each length of ribbon you cut, and it's a great way to show another way to use the Burlap Ribbon!

One of the things I like to do is find ways to make flowers out of things that weren't really designed to be flowers, so when I saw the inside of the sand dollar die I instantly thought of flowers. I cut 6 for each flower, and since you only need the center you can use very small pieces to die cut, making it a great way you use up scraps. The Layering Squares and Stitched Shapes Framelits are used for the frame, and Ruffles embossing folder on the Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

Here's another flower! This one is fun and spiky, and it really stands up! To make this I used the 1 1/4" Circle punch and 15 of the large coral die cuts in Balmy Blue. The first and second layers have four corals each, the third layer has three, the second has two with slits cut to make it overlap and curl up, and the fourth and final has two overlapping and rolled up tight with part of the bottom cut off to make it into a center. I glued the center on with Tombow Liquid Glue, and you can use your favorite leaf punch or die to add leaves. The netting stamp is just perfect stamped onto the Soft Sea Foam cardstock before it is layered onto Mossy Meadow. The greeting is made with the Everyday Label punch on a 1" strip of Very Vanilla.

I just had to do a shaker card. One of the dies cuts out 20 tiny fish, which is just perfect for this! I stamped two large coral onto Balmy Blue in Calypso Coral and the octopus in Balmy Blue. The netting is stamped on the Soft Sea Foam in Soft Sea Foam ink for a tone-on-tone look. For the shakers I cut the fish from Calypso Coral twice and Silver Foil one time and added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for some sparkle. The Classic Label punch is just the right size for the greeting.

Make this cool ombre effect with your sponge brayers! Start with Soft Sea Foam at the top and roll it over halfway down some Whisper White, then roll Balmy Blue on the bottom and lightly over some of the green to blend the colors. I used the negative of the fish die cut to sponge on the fish. Use a couple of post-it notes to keep it in place and cover the rest of the card as you sponge! You have to push the sponge pretty hard to get a full fish image instead of a bunch of blue blobs, haha. The Sahara Sand to torn to look like rocks for the coral to grow on, and I looked up nautical knots on Pinterest to find the one I liked.

To make this into a class I would just do the first four projects because they use the same colors and embellishments, which makes it much easier to plan and cut. Each person would get the Sea of Textures stamp set, a pack of Pearls, one Pizza Box, and pre-cut cardstock and piece of ribbon in their class fee. I would provide the dies, punches, and ink for live classes and a list of supplies used for to go options. They would have the option to include the dies in their fee with the discounted bundle price. The last two would be on display for more fun ideas.

Here is my class break down and supply list. Feel free to use this with your customers!

Be sure to continue on the blog hop to see the other great projects for the rest of the presenters! I loved what they showed us, and you will too! Check back neck month for videos on how I made these!

End of Sale-A-Bration Count Down Has Begun!

Only 10 days of Sale-A-Bration are left!

Don't miss out of these exclusive items before they are gone forever! These stamp sets, card kits, and embellishments will never be available, so be sure to get the ones you want while you can! You can get one for every $50 order, no limit, and there are special items only available with a $100 order to shop now to get them!

Today's featured SAB item is Lots of Lavender (147194). This gorgeous photopolymer set is great for 2-Step Stampin' or just as an outline or filler, and can be used with any greeting you want to make the perfect card. And you can get it for FREE with a $50 order!

Here are some cards I made with this stamp set, and a few greetings from other sets.  The fourth card (bottom right) is outlined in Soft Suede and filled with Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive, and Blushing Bride. The Delightful Daisy DSP, Metal Rimmed Pearls, and Linen Thread is just right to dress it up without being too much.

This card is just the filler stamps with no outline to give it a soft water colored look with Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, and Soft Sky inks. The Garden Trellis Embossing Folder (EF) gives it just the right touch of texture, and the Silver Foil paper and Silver Ribbon makes it perfect for a special celebration. Stamp the greeting from the Special Celebrations stamp set and you're done!

This one is outlined in Basic Gray and stamped onto the background to add visual interest. It's filled with Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, and Soft Sky. The greeting can be found in the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. No embellishments are need to make this card stand out!

Lots of Lavender Sale-A-Bration stamp set water colored to look like succulents with the Birthday Memories DSP. The Primrose Stamper.

This third card is outlined in Garden Green and water colored in Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist and hand cut out to make them look like succulents! The little flowers are stamped in Calypso Coral and water colored in with the same color, and the greeting is from the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set. The Birthday Memories DSP is the perfect paper to make into a tag to put them on, and the Calypso Coral background embossed with the Oh My Stars EF is perfect! Tie a bow in the 1/8" Sheer Ribbon and it's all it needs.

This last card I made is outlined in Soft Suede and filled with Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive, and Blushing Bride. The greeting from Bunch of Blossoms is stamped in Soft Suede onto Wisteria Wonder then embossed with the Ruffles EF. The Delightful Daisy DSP, Metal Rimmed Pearls, and Linen Thread is just right to dress it up without being too much.

And these are ones I got as swaps from other Demonstrators! I love getting so many cards from other stampers.

This cute card is paired the the Jars of Love stamp set and dies, Petals & More dies, and a greeting from anther SAB stamp set Heartfelt Blooms. The jar is stamped onto vellum paper before being die cut to give it an opaque look.

The Berry Burst ink and cardstock are perfect with this stamp set! I love it on the background embossed with the Layered Leaves EF. The greeting is from the Petal Palette stamp set and cut into a banner with some of the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper (also a free gift with a $50 order!). Cutting the bouquet with the Lots of Labels dies is just what it needed.

Don't forget the rest of the gifts you can get too! There are new items from the catalog that have been added too, so be sure to check them out as well.

Reserve your Stamparatus by December 30th!

NEW Stamparatus Coming In 2018!
The results are in! The first Stamparatus reservation window reached its maximum number of reservations in just 15 minutes, which provided us with some very important information: You LOVE this new stamping tool! We couldn't be more thrilled; in fact, your response was so amazing that we've decided to make some important adjustments to the reservation process.

The NEW Stamparatus is certain to be the must-have stamping tool for 2018!  If you want an easy way to get perfect stamp placement, you will LOVE this amazing product!  There are other brands out there offering similar products, but the Stamparatus combines all of the top benefits and improves on them!  It will be a breeze to create perfectly positioned images, to quickly stamp multiple projects, to easily stamp multi-step images, and to re-stamp images that need a little more ink. Once you try it, you won't know how you stamped without it!

My Favorite Stamparatus Features:
  • Two removable & reversible plates give you the ability to stamp 2-step, 3-step or 4-step images quickly and accurately, over & over!
  • Grid lines on the base and on the plates help you line up stamps perfectly!
  • Two open sides accommodate any size of card stock!
  • Can be used with both clear mount and photopolymer style stamps!
  • Strong & slim bar magnets help hold your paper in place, and they store on the bottom!
  • Only $49.00!
  • RESERVE Your Stamparatus through December 30th—
You'll be able to reserve the NEW Stamparatus positioning tool beginning on December 5th. The second reservation window will remain open from December 5-30; however, during this reservation period SU! will take as many orders as they receive (yay!) and not close the window until December 30. So whether the total number of reservations is 100 or 100,000, the window will stay open!

    Please note the following changes:

    • Beginning March 19, we will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5-30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced).
    • Because we are not limiting the maximum number of reservations for the second window, we will not offer a third window. This is the last chance for you to reserve a Stamparatus before it becomes available in the 2018-2019 annual catalog.

Please note what has not changed:
    • If you reserved one stamping tool during the first reservation period, that number will not change; you will still receive the same number you reserved.
    • If you reserved a stamping tool during the first reservation period, you may still order during the second window.
    • The reservation window will open at 2:00 PM MT (3PM CT) on December 5.
I can't wait for you to get your hands on your very own Stamparatus and look forward to seeing the projects you'll make with this incredible stamping tool. Look for additional details on the Stamparatus product page as the second reservation window approaches.

How Does The Reservation Process Work?  Through Dec 30th, you'll be able to reserve your Stamparatus at my Online Store.  You will see a reservation link on the Stamparatus product page.  You'll need a customer account and a credit card number for your reservation, but your card will not be charged until the product ships next year.  Once it becomes available, you will be asked to go back into your account to complete your order.  At that time, you'll be able to add other products to your order.  When you finalize your order, you'll also be able to earn Stampin' Rewards, add a Host Code, and/or qualify for Sale-a-Bration promotional items that will be available from Jan 3 through March 31.  See complete details: Stamparatus FAQs PDF.
