What is Stampapalooza? It's a fun day filled with stamping! We make cards, mini scrapbooks, treat bags and more.And it's even more fun with your best friend.
When is it? October 5th, 2013. Registration starts 8:30 am, class starts at 9 am sharp, so try to be there around 8:50.
Where will it be? The Midlothian Civic Center in Midlothian, TX
How much?  Only $50 for at least 14 different projects!! (1/2 cards, 1/2 non-cards/3-D)

Magnetic Platform is back!

It's back! After being overwhelmed with orders for the new platform, Stampin' Up! has a full shipment of them to take care of the demand!

 

Now, you may be thinking "what's the big deal about this platform?". The Magnetic Platform is used with the Framelits, Edgelits, Thinlits and Holiday Catalog dies; and holds them in place on your card stock so that you can die cut your stamped images without the dies moving around! You still have to use your cutting plates just like you do with the traditional platform, but no more sticky notes to keep things still. It's awesome!

Christmas Stamp A Stack part 1

It's that time again! Time to start building your stash of Christmas cards. So we started at Stamp A Stack yesterday and had a great time! Here's what we made:

 

This one is made using the New  Circle Thinlits Dies, Festive Flurry Set (Wood Mount), and coordinating Festive Flurry Framelits & Wishing You Set (Wood Mount). The Glimmer Paper and Organza ribbon were just what this card needed to sparkle!

This card was fun! The Wishing You Set (Wood Mount) made this card so easy to make. So did the Season of Style Designer Washi Tape. And the Ovals Collections Framelits were a great helper in cutting the gift and mat out! Now tracing and hand cutting with them around!

Oh My Goodness! We got to see these awesome new dies in action at Convention and I've been waiting to share them with you! They are so awesome! Just look at them...

These are the Circle Thinlits Card Dies. Aren't they great! It comes with all 10 pieces, and the card die cuts and scores for you! The dies can be used together or on other projects,

These are the Label Thinlits Card Dies. I LOVE them! This set comes with all 9 dies shown and the card dies cuts and scores as well!

My own Swap Bag

I made this lovely bag to carry my swaps at SU! events.  

Check out the windows on the front to show off your swap! There's two on each side!
They are 6"x6", so it holds vertical and horizontal card fronts.
You can use all four or just two, it's up to how many swaps you want to make! 

Handy side pockets to hold a few tools, like your Paper Snips, Snail, name tag and other things.
They have some elastic at the top to keep the pocket opening a little closer to the bag.

Now for the inside. See those beautiful dividers? Those are for you to put your swaps in. On the outside you have a sample of what swaps are in each pocket, making it so simple to keep track of them. The big one in the middle is for all those great swaps in! It can hold quite a few!

 It's pretty durable too, you won't have to worry about it ripping from all those swaps.
